İngilizcede birinin ya da bir şeyin nerede olduğunu sormak için “Where” (Nerede) sözcüğünü kullanırız.

Where is the café? (Kafe nerede?) Where is Ali? (Ali nerede?)
Where is the school? (Okul nerede?) Where is Oya? (Oya nerede?)
Bunlara cevap verirken ise, yakında ise; “Burada” anlamına gelen “Here” ya da “Over here”; uzakta ise,
“Orada” anlamına gelen “There” ya da “Over there” diyebiliriz.

It is over here. (Burada.) He is there. (O orada.)
The bank is here. (Banka burada.) Danny is over there. (Danny orada.)

I’m sorry, I don’t know. (Üzgünüm, bilmiyorum.)
